Drag the divider. Then read how long it took and what it involved.
A photograph on its own tells you nothing useful. Each pair below carries the treatment, the duration, the number of visits and what we would have suggested instead.

The imagery on this page was produced for a design demonstration. It is not a record of any patient treated by this practice, it is not a prediction, and it must not be read as one.
Before and after pairs

BeforeAfterMild lower crowding and a rotated upper lateral, aligned first so that no enamel had to be removed, then home whitening in custom trays for two weeks.
What I remember is being told to straighten them first, before anyone talked to me about veneers. It took longer and it cost less.

BeforeAfterWorn incisal edges and a midline gap rebuilt in layered composite in a single appointment. Reversible, no enamel removed, and a night guard fitted afterwards because the wear pattern showed grinding.
I had come in expecting to be quoted for eight veneers. I left having had it done in an afternoon for a fraction of that.

BeforeAfterHard-water mineral staining and surface discolouration. A full hygiene course removed most of it; two weeks of carbamide peroxide in custom trays did the rest. Nothing was prepared and nothing was bonded.
The hygienist told me most of it was on the surface and would come off with a clean. She was right, and she said it before taking any money for whitening.

How to read a gallery
Four questions worth asking of anybody's before-and-afters.
- Is the lighting the same in both frames? A warmer light, a different angle or a flash added on the second shot changes apparent shade more than most whitening does.
- Are the lips in the same position? A retracted "after" against a relaxed "before" exaggerates everything. Standardised records use the same framing both times.
- How long did it take, and how many visits? A result that took eleven months and nine appointments is a different proposition from one that took an afternoon.
- What was the least invasive thing that would have worked? If a gallery never shows a case solved with a hygiene visit and some bonding, it is a sales document.
